"We give everyone access through our website to contract big name entertainers, sports figures or public speakers for their events," said company founder Steve Einzig. "We have produced everything from Kool and The Gang in Bulgaria during the war to the Beach Boys for a surprise 50th birthday party on Park Avenue. We even booked EMINEM in Rosarito, Mexico for a Memorial Day Weekend event in 1999. It was the first time he ever had a tour bus. And now through an agreement we just reached, we can make the arrangements for Paulie, Christopher, Junior, Big Pussy and even Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) to attend private functions."
BOOKINGENTERTAINMENT.COM was an idea Einzig came up with in 1995 while working as James Brown's agent. "It is a simple concept. Give everyone a brand name website where they can go to contract any big name entertainer, sports figure or public speaker in the business for their events. If we don't contract an act for them, it doesn't cost them a thing. Now everyone has a contact in the entertainment industry."
The professional agents at BOOKINGENTERTAINMENT.COM handle the entire process from booking the acts to handling the logistics and production. Once a professional event planner or consumer completes the entertainment request form on-site, an agent follows up immediately via email or telephone. The agent provides pricing and availability for the act(s) in question until an offer is made to the appropriate act and accepted. The client can then request that production is handled as well, which would include everything from flights to hotels, limos, sound, lights, equipment and the 'misc. rider requirements'. The production team is then sent on-site for the event to coordinate the entertainment to start exactly on time as per the client's scheduling needs.
