Aqueous is an indie-jam rock band founded in Buffalo, New York, by members Rob Houk, Evan McPhaden, Dave Loss, and Mike Gantzer. The group began performing together in the late 2000s, quickly establishing a growing fan base through appearances at numerous festivals and venues across the United States.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 2009, which was followed by a series of performances at prominent music festivals such as Catskill Chill, Peach Festival, and Summer Camp Music Festival. Aqueous gained significant attention for their high-energy performances, earning positive reviews from audiences and accolades from respected music publications, including Relix Magazine, which featured them as one of the artists “On the Verge” to watch in the coming years.

Over the years, Aqueous has continued to expand their discography, releasing several albums, including Giant Something (2011), Willy is 40 (2012), Live Nugs V. 4 (2013), Cycles (2014), Best in Show (2016), and a live EP titled Artifact (2016). Their body of work showcases an ongoing evolution of their sound and musical style.

In 2017, the band released their latest live album, Element Pt. 1, further solidifying their status as a growing force in the music scene. They have consistently participated in major music festivals, including Electric Forest and The Peach Music Festival, broadening their audience and solidifying their reputation.
