Keith Sweat has enjoyed an amazing career that includes five consecutive #1 R&B albums, (seven of his nine have debuted in the Top 5), and fifteen top ten R&B singles, including seven #1's and four top five pop singles!
Harlem-born Keith Sweat burst onto the urban landscape in 1987 with the triple-platinum, era-changing debut “Make It Last Forever” (which helped launch the hybrid of Smoothed-out R&B with Hip Hop-influenced beats known as “New Jack Swing”). The album delivered four Top 10 R&B singles, including the chart-topping "I Want Her" (which also went #5 Pop). He repeated the magic with “I'll Give All My Love To You” (1990), which also yielded a quartet of Top 10s, including the #1 smash "Make You Sweat”. The single “Twisted” from “Keith Sweat”, his quadruple-platinum, self-titled fifth album, hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1996. Sweat was also a member of LSG with R&B contemporaries Gerald Levert and Johnny Gill. Keith has also discovered, written and produced songs for artists such as Silk, Kut Klose, Men At Large, Dru Hill, Immature, The Isley Brothers and The O'Jays.
