Sheryl Crow didn't always think she'd be a musical performer; she was once a full-time teacher.

Sheryl Crow released her debut, Tuesday Night Music Club, in 1993. The album included her first hit single, "Leaving Las Vegas" her first radio-hit "All I Wanna Do." Later that year, Crow took home several Grammy awards for the album, including Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "All I Wanna Do"; Record of the Year for "All I Wanna Do"; and Best New Artist.

Sheryl Crow released her eponymous second album in 1996. The song, "If It Makes You Happy" became a radio hit. Sheryl Crow won two Grammy awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best New Album for the album.

Sheryl Crow released her third album, The Globe Sessions, in 1997. It included "My Favorite Mistake" and won Best Rock Album at the 1998 Grammy Awards.

Sheryl Crow won the 1999 Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal for her version of Guns 'N' Roses "Sweet Child O' Mine.

Sheryl Crow won another Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance in 2000 for the song "There Goes the Neighborhood" from her album, Sheryl Crow and Friends: Live from Central Park.

In 2002, Sheryl Crow released the enticingly pop-ish C'mon, C'mon. It included the hits in "Soak Up the Sun" and 2002 Best Female Rock Performance Grammy winner "Steve McQueen".

In 2003, just 10 years after releasing her debut album, Crow released her greatest hits compilation The Very Best of Sheryl Crow.

Sheryl Crow released Wildflower in 2005 and debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts. Later that year, the album was nominated for a Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy, while Crow was nominated for a Best Female Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for the first single "Good Is Good". Wildflower has nearly achieved platinum status.

In 2006, Crow contributed the song "Real Gone", to the soundtrack of the animated film Cars.[ She also voices Elvis in the film.

Sadly, Crow was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in late February 2006.

Crow's has since returned to music is making her fans happier than ever.

In late 2006, Crow was nominated for a Golden Globe award for the song "Try Not To Remember" (Best Original Song category) from the film "Home of the Brave."

Sheryl Crow also wrote a foreword for the book Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips.

In 2007, Sheryl Crow performed a cover of Beatles's Here Comes the Sun for The Bee Movie.
